I had a question though, why did you have to bring the original ds-230 and even fill it out there?when we send to NVC before the interview my wife is not sure if she needs to bring her copy of DS-230 with her to interview?

Thanks for any help shes getting nervous about what to bring other than the proof of relationship hehe:-)

Hi there David, I believe it was the DS-230 Part II, during the interview all beneficiaries/applicants require to sign it personally in front of the Consul. Remember when the USC petitioner submitted DS-230 Forms only the Part I, was signed by the beneficiary? And Part II (unsigned). I guess that is one way of the consulate's checking verifications if the beneficiary who signed the first DS-230 Part I & II is the same person.

Hello DavidnMay :) There's really no reason for her to get nervous, you know...hehehe..I was like that though during the weeks before my interview coz i thought that its scary..but you know, she dont have to coz she knows in here HEART and MIND that GOD will not leave her behind,ok..

As for your question...Yah,NVC got the DS-230 part 1&2 but i had another copy downloaded weeks before my interview coz i want to make sure in case they'll ask coz in some cases they will...Anyways,i gave my own copies of DS at the booth where i had to get my stab number..but the DS that the prescreener let me sign was the one that we submitted to NVC,not the one that i made copies of...I hope i dont make you confused..hehehe :)

In other words..tell your wife to have her download the DS230 coz she'll submit that together with her original copy of appointment letter from NVC and 2 2x2 pics...ok ;) Oh by the way, have her fill that out before she gets in her interview and make sure its the same as what she wrote on the ones that you sent to NVC
