We have heard conflicting reports on the my wives ability to travel ( or leave the USA) on her CR1 Visa

The entries say 1. We were told by the Costa Rica Embassy only one entry. She was told as she entered the country she was not limited.

Websites are confusing or dated on the info.

We are confused and have needs ..wants to be able to travel back and forth.

Anyone know the answer? :wacko:

The visa is good for 1 entry. However, on that 1 entry, a I-551 stamp will be put in the passport to show permanent residence and is good for 1 year. That stamp will allow unlimited entries based on permanent residence. You don't have to wait to get the permanent resident card, you can enter the U.S. with the passport stamp.
