Hi VJ commnity ,

this Ahmed i have had my interview this morning ,it was not the interview i was expecting or picturing in mind ,i have been gathering tons of proofs and studying questions and stuff but none of it was needed obviously ,I have got there around 8:40 AM which is 20 mins earlier ,they did not respect timings or appointments and there was no organization outside Consulate ,i was interviewed at 11 AM ,none of this matters now .

I had 2 red flags,my Fiance is 13 years older than me and second red flag is that i have been into a longterm relationship with someone Morrocan with US citizenship and we have been thru k1 together before in 2005 that i have met her in Agadir and we built a relationship online ,thats all i can tell was red flags .but she did not ask me anything about my current Fiance Except for:

1-how did u met ur Fiance...ANSWER: over the internet

2-on what website.....ANSWER: Yahoo program .

3-were u looking for a woman online ....ANSWER: no it was just predestined .

4-when did she visit ....ANSWER :twice May and October 2007 .

5-did she visit another time ........ANSWER:no, finances and circumstances did not permit us to do so .

6-have u been talking to many women online ...ANSWER : yeah i have been before talking to many pppl from all ove the world to improve my english cuz it was weak .

7-whose Meriam Alilo ......ANSWER :my ex .

8-did she sent a petition for you ....ANSWER :yes "but she knew we broke up due to we both have gave up on the application"

9-what do u intend to work in US ....ANSWER :Electricity i wanna work in my field .

10-do u plan on studying in US ....ANSWER :yes maybe .

11- she asked to look for pics and she did look at album "before she yell for my name i could see her reading the original petition the USCIS sent them and looking at every paper there ",Also she was asking questions and typing pretty fast ,she did not seem careful with the questions she is asking i truly believed there is a mind was made up even before i walked in ,she took my passport and was getting it stick to number there then all of a sudden at the and she changed her mind and handed it to me after saying "we cant issue the visa right now ur case will be back to Washington DC ,ur case requieres additional administrative processing " and that they will contact me by phone once its done ,she seemed also nice to me with her hi and how are you doing and have a good day at the end of interview but the only thing that bothered me is that she did not ask for my Fiance is informations she did not ask for her Financial Infos and employee letter and bank statements not even letter of intent that my Fiance sent me ,i had others proofs to show but as i said she seemed they have had a decision made up already...the form she gave me with my passport i dont even know what they call it or if even others members here have had it before ,i dont even know if we officially can say our visa was denied or not yet .

the most bad thing is when i called Michelle to tell her how everything went ,all i heared is her crying and after 7 minutes of talk her friend Amy grabbed phone and told me Michelle went unconscious i will hung up and she will call u later dont worry she will be fine , i felt miserable and so sad ,she called me back in like 40 Mins and she seemed not happy with news but at least tiny bit better ,i was trying to make her feel better by telling her there is always a solution which now we are begging for you guys to help us figure it out and help us do what you think it should be done ,I hope there is something we can do to our case,I have attached the form they gave us so you guys can see it and explain it to us ,we will greately and hugely apperciate your help in this hard and stressful period of time so thanks in advance .

Sincerly Ahmed and Michelle .

That looks like a standard 221g for administrative processing. This does not mean you were denied - nearly everyone gets one of these. Your visa should be issued when they complete security checks in Washington.

Ahmed, the 221(g) you posted looks like the standard administrative processing that everyone goes through with Casa, and NOT a denial. My husband had the same paper. It does not look like your case was returned to USCIS, so it looks (to me) like your interview was successful. Casa does not always keep the passport, and they almost never give the visa the same day. Administrative processing usually lasts at least a few weeks, though it can last longer. I know it is a terribly stressful time for you both. Please try to relax, both of you. Your fiancée can contact her representative to try to get more information if it would help her feel better. But it really does sound like you will have good news very soon. Good luck for a fast AP.

From what they told you it sounds like normal AP. All this means is that they are doing security checks. And almost all visas are issued after they finish. But I can't read your attachment to verify this. Can you type exactly what the notes on it says? Please tell your fiance not to worry, it really sounds like standard stuff.

I just went through this with Said, and I couldnt calm down so I emailed the consulate asking them to clarify on the paper, and they responded the next day saying that it was in AP in Washington. I emailed them 2 days later to check on the status of his visa and they called him the next day and told him to bring his passport on Monday and he just picked up his visa. So tell her to email the consulate and ask them if shes really worried about it they are pretty good at responding. Good luck :star:

You can get representatives involved at any time. Michelle will need to give them a signed form with permission to work on your case. But they probably won't be able to tell you anything about the length of AP. That is mostly a name check, and if your name is the same or similar to someone's in their database, they have to check more closely. All you can do is wait and be patient, and be extra kind to each other :) because this is one of the most stressful times in the process.

When my husband interviewed more than a year ago, they weren't asking for financials at all. He had a second letter of intent, but they didn't ask for that either. They looked at our photos but didn't care about e-mails, chats, or anything else he took with him. Every interview is different. As you said, her mind may have been made up before you even arrived, and she just wanted to hear your answers about your ex in your own words before she made her final decision. Who knows...the main thing is things look good.

I found a way to see it better, and it is certainly good news. Just standard AP. I hope you calmed your fiance down.

it says :

dear visa applicant :

this office regrets to inform you that it is unable to issue a visa to you because you have been found inelegible to receive a visa under the following section (s) of the immigration and nationality Act. the informations contained in the paragraphs marked with "X" pertain to your visa application .please disregard the unmarked pragraphs .

and the marked paragraph was : Your case requires additional administrative processing .we requiere nothing further from you at this time.we will contact you by telephone as soon as we are able to continue with your case .

thats what it says ,i am thinking here hat they said continue with my case instead of issue the visa ,do u think guys they nay schedule me a second interview i am saying this because as i said before she looked at nothing that belongs to my fiance such as finances or letter of intent .

My husbands also said "continue with your case," and the next time he heard from them, it was to tell him to come for the visa. I am guessing they don't want to say the word "visa" until your AP is completed, so they use very general words.

VeryNice,

No one can tell you how long your security checks will last. Some people have been called in a few days;for others it has taken months. Your fiancee can call the DOS on a weekly basis if she likes to see if the checks have cleared. While you can get the senator involved, it's only been a short time since your interview. But do what you need to be able to relax.

I don't know why the consulates have to give out such confusing information. How hard is it to say, your case is approved BUT we need to finish security checks before we issue the visa ?????
