we just got BACK FROM CHENNAI we are in hyd now...

we are IN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING!!

i never cried somuch in my life...

we did not expect this at all

she said i am confident u have this visa, while puting her fist down... but i need to do some additional processing, gave me a blue sheet 221g and said i can have a reception for my husband etc etc was nice..

we thought we had it til she pulled out that blue sheet...

she asked for nothing, everything was perfect!

i dont understand...

we wil post the detailed interview soon...

all we can do is wait (she said 4-6 weeks)

Oh horse hockey on them Hyd, your going to have Visa in hand way before that, you will have visa before I have my buns on plane to Paris in a few weeks. It's going to work out Hyd, I feel it in my heart. Please enjoy what you have now, your together with the one you love, and things will be fine. Just remember Love, it was NOT refused, pray and keep the faith.

Hyd That means they want to confirm and validate your marriage plus any other details... That's all... So you can be with your hubby now, so that you won't lose any time with him due to this AP...

Paris said it. It will be all right soon inshaAllaah. I Read another post by someone whose husband was interviewed at Islamabad last week and obviously he too was sent on AP and she made it sounds like it was not a big deal and that it would be over soon.

Hyd, you are in our hearts and prayers. Please don't worry. This too shall pass. Enjoy your time in Hyderabad.

This is just another technical SNAFU.

My gut feeling is they want to do a name chack against their data base. I remember the same thing happened to someone in Delhi last Nov. and in March 2008 her hubby got the visa.

Don't get panic or upset.. It will be all fine.. It is just a formality that immgrant officers have to follow ... You and your husband wouldn't notice when you will have his visa on hand.. Just matter of time.. There is saying in Gujarati, "dheeraj na fal meetha" means.. have patience the end result will be sweetier soon.. Just take care and enjoy the time with your husband..ok..

I am sure you remember that we are in the same situation. When my husband was done with his interview the CO said he didnt need to bring anything else and he wouldnt need to return for another interview, just wait for her to call for him to submit his passport.

I have since talked with my senator and the information we have gotten back is they are varifying documents relating to our relationship (they kept his divorce papers and our marriage documents, everything else they gave back).

I have also learned from others that if you call DOS they would tell you if it is security or name checks. Luckily for us they have not said that...just AP.

check with the AP waivers forum for more answers, that is where I found so much information and many others going through the same thing.

Our papers were perfect and so was the interview, even I was called at 3 am here in the US to be interviewed. I never in my life thought (or even knew of) AP before this and it knocked the wind out of me. we are going on 9 weeks now (I dont think any government moves with any speed), so hang in there, many have survived much longer (11 months or more) but to be in the middle of the wait is pure torture, you have my sympathy.
