I can not wait any longer, I have to direct contact Mr ME, I just called ME. He said that I should wait about 2-3 month , because I need to let the CO have time to review and make some investigates information which we submitted. After that time, if we dont have any answer from consulate, then we can call him again, what he can do now is help us to submit again if we want, other wise, he can not do any thing at this time, we have to wait 2-3 months. I told him that he is current our attorney and he is take care of our case now, I ask if he can use his power of attorney to ask direct consulate about the going on of the case, he said he can not do any thing at this time, I have to wait for the CO finished the investigation.

To philiptham and niceman,

HCMC is in fact working on your cases! They will further investigate all the claims and facts you make in your petitions. Prepare your fiancé for random calls from HCMC or someone sounds like it. Prepare for local visits. Prepare for targeted phone calls to anyone you have listed on your petition asking about your relationship. Random questioning "So how's your husband (using the EX's name)". Locally visits are weird but they do do those now. Talking to your neighbors and possible local police department (Công An Phường, Xã, Huyện etc.)

2-3 months is a long time, but you two have nothing to hide! The wait sux big time dou!

Hang tough and stay focus!

it looks like you are not well prepared. I think ME doesn't work on this personally, otherwise you wouldn't have this problem. ME helped me out before and those things you mentioned above were well prepared by me because ME told me to do so .

good luck bro . divorced chick is hard to handle btw.

Has this been a problem for natural born Americans?

To answer Jack & Xuan, yes I am US born and had to provide documentation of my ex's current residence. She wouldn't cooperate, so I finally drew up a notarized statement from me stating what I knew of her current residence. It was sufficient in our case.

Good luck philliptham. Don't give up!

Hi Anh Map,

Could you please post your "Self-Affidavit" letter for an example?

My guy here at work, his EX is throwing a fist over this and look like he needs to ask his divorce lawyer to handle the matter how to obtain the ex's info or just ask the Judge to grand him a pass based on his wife lack of co-operation. If this works, could save my buddy a few bucks for the lawyer!

Thanks

chuck and kim
