You will be in my prayers tonight and for many nights to come.

((((hugs))))

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Amal,

You are the last person in the world I would think would do something mean. You just happened to post right after I had talked to her, which is why I quoted you. You are the person who keeps us all connected (you seem to have the 411 on everyone  ). No harm done sister. :luv:

thx for clarifying. I was really concerned I said something wrong. (i need to be part of the guilty conscience annonymous club)

This truely is a special group of girls here in MENA. (L)

Amal, I haven't known you or anyone here for very long, but from what I've seen, if you could jump through the 'puter to give squirrel massage to make someone feel better you would. :innocent: And that goes for most of you ladies...I myself, too, would do what I could for anybody here. :luv:

When love beckons to you, follow him,

Though his ways are hard and steep.

And when his wings enfold you yield to him,

Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.

-- Kahlil Gibran

Henna Rose, none of this is as you expected, or as you would choose, but, your sweet husband died knowing that he was loved and that the woman he loved had made a sacred commitment to him and to him alone. This is a gift of great value, one that means that he did not die without you in his life and his heart. God put you in his path so that you would each know true acceptance, love and mercy. You were his angel on earth, and now he is yours in spirit. The two of you are together in the Heart of God.

There is no love without pain, but no love at all is even more painful. May you find solance in remembering how your time together was about joy and giving. You will see him again.

I agree that was beautiful

Hena Rose, I don't know you very well but I am here for you as is every wonderful person on this board. You have been in my prayers and will continue to be (L)

Ganja Girl~ that describes totally what I am feeling! You all have been so supportive (F) Amal ~ your post was beautiful, if God chose me for my husband's last days on earth, I am honored ! that doesn't make it any easier to bear. My husband was kind, loving, humble and I know he loved me based on his actions. I keep expecting him to pop on yahoo or call me and he is not there  I think today is harder as everything is sinking in and yesterday I kept expecting to wake up !

I know he loved you very very much. You were a very special couple and I know you made his life complete and good . This was an amazing journey for you , going to morocco, cooking with his family, all the wonderful things.. your grasp of darja. You have handled so many things this year.. and I am so sorry this happened. My heart is with you and I want you to continue to visit Morocco....and write your story.. I think thats what you should do because your story is a love story and an inspiration and tells of love and devotion... You mattered to each other..

I am so so so sorry

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

::It’s you...It’s you...Baby it’s you::
