Hi Jamericanlove,

I just called NVC and spoke to an operator. My petition arrived at NVC on July 29th so I got my NVC case # from the operator. Please note that the automated response says no record of the case.

I think everyone who was approved last week may want to call NVC and speak to an operator....Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. When you call the automated system are you in there? And also when was your last "touch" from USCIS?

They send them off in batches so maybe everybody from last week wasn't in the same batch.

My file wasn't touched by CSC at all since 5/20. I just received NOA2 in the mail.......am not sure when it was shipped off from CSC to NVC. I would think probably in the same batch as some who were approved towards the middle to end of last week. I am still not in the automated response system at NVC. I get a recording that a record doesn't exist. I spoke to an Operator at NVC today and found out that my petition arrived there on July 29th and that it was too early so that is why it's not in the automated response system yet but I did get my NVC case #. I asked for IIN, she stated that she didn't know what that was........is too early for the IIN??...somewhat confused..

Also, should my husband e-mail the ds 3032 right away or wait for the ds 3032 and AOS fee invoicing to be generated? Thanks........

Hi KAHM. Thanks for replying. I notice that sometimes USCIS doesn't update as they should on some peoples files. I think your husband should wait until they general the DS3032. They sayd you should not send information or pay bills before NVC has generated them as it causes delays in the process. HTH

KAHM, if I read that right, you received your NOA2 without getting a new touch on your file? I've been telling my husband not to bother going out of his way to get to his PO box daily until we get a more recent touch, but if that's true then I'll have to withdraw my own advice. LOL

Shpat, you can tell you've been 'touched' when the date of your case changes on the USCIS Case Status page. Doesn't mean the status itself necessarily changes though, unfortunately.

As part of the idiocyncracies of USCIS, the "touch" I saw on 7/10 is still on the USCIS site. I received no e-mail approval and the case is still listed as pending on USCIS. I received all approvals by regular mail.

Still waiting for the package from NVC.

Good luck to all!
