Oh that's one thing Waleed and I go over as well. He doesn't want me in public in a bathing suit. He wants a private beach for me or build a swimming pool at home for me. All very sweet gestures but at the same common I'm American when do I draw the line? How much of myself do I have to compromise?

Well, he probably would like movies if they weren't so expensive. We don't actually do anything. Sometimes, we drive out to the lake and sit and have a picnic. We have one day off together and since we both work nights by the time we wake up most of the day is gone anyway.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

He hasn't decided. lol

LOL i don't know if he has or not. He has to have an idea. He quoted "anchorman" when he jsut flat out said, "No, it is not a "pants party" it's a real gift." LOL! He loves Steve Carrell.

What about flowers?

I thought about that too. I love flowers and he knows I never got them before him. That would be extra dirty low of him if he dangled flowers in front of me.

lol, but it would be nice!

OOOOOOH! FLOWERS!!! (L)

Depends on how you define yourself. None of these things actually defined me, so it didn't matter.

Well, for me, I am muslim now so it wouldn't be right to dress like that in public. We have been looking at muslim swimming suits online that he says I could use when swimming in public. The only problem with them is they cover a lot more so it would draw attention. I'm hoping to find one of those swimming pools that has women only hours.

I've kinda been on my Mom's work schedule as well as she works night and we try to do things at night but there isn't much to do here. Picnics sound nice but bugs bug me.

I noticed my father's mother looked great after only a few months after she had my dad (she showed me pics with my dad). I asked her how she did it. She said she swam during most of her pregnancy. I plan to keep that in mind when I have babies. Its low impact and can be great cardio. Of course the trick will be finding an acceptable place to swim that my husband will approve of.

That sounds nice, same problem as you though. I love swimming, too. Actually, he wants to get one of those small pools (like a 24x24' pool) and ship it to his village.. and he loved my idea of teaching the little village kids how to swim. So, he said i could teach the little primary schoolers how to swim wearing my bathing suit-- that that would be OK because it would jsut be me and a woman teacher and the kids.

For you it may be easier then with the Husband. I've seen those swimsuits by that Australian lady for Muslim women. I couldn't wear that. I dunno what to do. I talk to him about it but at the same time neither of us are strong enough to make the move coz oh love.

We thought of getting some kind of pool when we get a house too. It wouldn't be big enough for proper laps, but I could improvise. I love swimming and he knows I can't give it up altogether. Sometimes he asks me if it is worth it to me to give up many things for him. I tell him we just have to work out compromises so it isn't such a problem.

Unfortunately I have to go to bed now. I hope you guys have a great night and I'll chat with you tommorow!

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....
