Finally our case has been touched, its been since 2/24/08 so I hope the others who have been stuck in the black hole of that date will be moving soon too

I know a touch may be nothing but at this point it was wonderful to see a different date on my case

Is there usually an approval after a touch?

from lookin at ur timeline, it could very well b that ur case is in its final stages...b prepared to hear good news soon :)...did u get ur paperwork together for NVC? if not, get on it now..

If you have a history of 'touches' then yes, a touch often leads to approval.

This is the first touch since they put our case in the system, I called the VSC yesterday, but I have called them before and never a touch, but also I have someone here in Orlando , from my congressmen's office working on the case, so maybe she has done something

I had my first and only touch yesterday on my husband's case- I was thrilled too just to see a touch- it turned out to be a totally unexpected approval ! I thought the approval was a ways off yet- hang in there -- I'm sure your approval will be soon. :)
