You mailed it to the wrong service office. They just transferred it for you.

They only take LOC applications at Vermont or California now, depending on where you live.

You are right JENN, this is the second email that I got since i mailed all the documents. Heres the first email they sent me and it makes me confuse.

What probably happened was the TSC sent a notice when they sent it out, and VSC sent a notice when they received, hence two emails about transferring your application.

I thought you sent it to either Vermont, Texas, California, or Nebraska, depending on where you live.

So they don't process the form in Nebraska? The instructions give various places to mail the form to. My wife and I live in Iowa and I thought we should mail it to Nebraska. Is this not the correct thing to do?

No, you should send directly to CSC. If you send to NSC, it will be transferred to CSC and may add a couple of weeks of extra time to your processing.
