I just wantd to say thanks for all your postings on VJ. While I have not replied before - your postings really helped me to not got completely crazy during this experience. Now to see you made it home (which funny enough I grew up in Bergen County NJ and love it there) makes me feel as if it is all really going to end some day soon for us as well. Hopefully, we will be driving to NJ after our Aug 22 interview. My parents still live there and they are taking care of our dog. Glad you got home safely and without a border incident! Enjoy NJ!

The process isn't that complicated when you think about it, especially with the help of VJ...man, where would we be without VJ.

I like it here too. Nick asked me yesterday if I wanted to drive when we went out for the afternoon....I told him no, I'm not ready. I'm pretty intimidated by the traffic here. I'm a new driver as it is so I was just getting use to driving at home....

Hopefully soon I'll bite the bullet and get in and drive.

Right now I'm taking a break from unpacking...man I have so much stuff. We are heading for Ikea tonight...(They are going to LOVE us) I have a whole page full of stuff we need to get from there.

It's just going to be Nick, myself and 2 of our closest friends, Jason and Tina.

Early September we are having a party type of thing and my family will come down, etc.

I remember getting home for the first time and it seemed like such a case of Deja Vu. I had been there numerous times before. But actually being in my own car seemed so odd. I'd always taken the shuttle or taxi from the airport or occasionally gotten picked up.

Hey Laura, I was wondering why you weren't on MSN! I'm doing good. Lots of running around, trying to get my AOS package all ready to send in!

It's so cute that you miss Nick already, even though he's just at work. I miss Andrew every single day he's at work! I'm always so happy when he comes home at lunch time and then after work! Awesome that you're making lasagna! I'm SO jealous, I want some!
