What should i prepare for NVC while awaiting I-130 approval?

I know i've seen this subject addressed before but i thought i'd ask again -- hoping maybe someone has the link for the old post or can write it anew? :help:

I'm starting to get anxious just waiiiiiiiiiiiiting :bonk: and i'm sure there are some things i can possibly be preparing in advance so that when the I-130 is approved (pleaseeee God make it happen sooon! :crying: ) I will have most of everything required already completed and ready to send it off for the 2nd length of time WAITING!

....................I'm really trying to stay hopeful and positive here  as i see that the date for VERMONT filers of I-130 is no longer JULY 30, 2007 and is now SEPTEMBER 3, 2007!

I would recommend that you let your spouse to get his/her's passport, certified birth certificate, certified marriage certificate, police record, divorce decree(if applicable). You will also need to have 3 years of taxes along with your W-2s or transcripts, which you can get by calling the IRS and requesting it. It takes upto a week to get them and it is free. You will also need paystubs and/or employment letter from your employer. These are just a few of them. You will want to review the guides for better information. Good luck with your journey.
