Check not yet encash?

Almost 3 weeks from the time we sent the packet 129F but unitl now the check is not encash yet. Can somebody tell me whats going on with this situation? We filed at Vermont for K1 visa. Was it lost?

I for one will give them Hell if they lost my package especially that I have prove that it was delivered to them and signed for. The I-129F package contains every piece of personal information from us (SSN, Birthday, Passport, address, even Birth Certificate etc...), which is a gold mine for those not too honest people to steal our identities. Can we sue the agency if they lost our package? Or have them sign something for their mistakes, incase we run into any fraud problem?

My package was delivered to Vermond on July 7th, and signed for. I still have heard anything from them and my check has not been cashed yet. I will give it another couple weeks before doing anything.

Yes we sent it through USPS and we have confirmation that they recieved it. Just wondering why is it that alot of JULY filers didnt get NOA1 and even the check not encash yet at this time. A BIG WHYYYYYYYYYYYY

Holidays... doing other things... one never knows with the USCIS... My I-485 NOA took 6 weeks for them to cash and send

Yes it suxxxxx if they lost it. We have all the originals there also. They recieved our petition last JUNE 30.... and nothing until now.... Pls tell me what to do..

Do we need to wait till it is encash or we need to resend another copy again which is suxx?

Seeing none of us July filers got NOA 1, I'd wait for another week or so. I think there should be a batch of NOA 1 coming out soon.

Also, I read from another post today, about a memo for Vermont Service Center about delayed receiving process for the past few weeks. But, I can't find that post now. It was posted today. The info was from a lawyer someone used.

I also called the USCIS yesterday and they told me to wait until my check is cashed, and i told them 3 of my friends submitted the same time with me and they recieved their NOA1 already, and i told the man i'm scared it's lost or something, he told me my application is not lost that they are in a busy season now, so very likely, they haven't eached my application yet, so i'll wait little bit more, but keep putting together 2nd set of my apllication on the side, just in case.

we waited 50 days before the check was cashed and got our NOA1. dont worry it's there .Good luck.

Thank you so much for encouraging me to wait.How come it took 50 days for Noa1? But anyways we cant do anything though.
