What are the penalties if you file your I-175 late for few days?

Guess I never noticed this check box on the I-751.

I am a child who entered as a conditional permanent resident and I am unable to be included

in a joint petition to remove the conditional basis of are alien's permanent residence (Form

1-751) filed by my parent(s).

So there are provisions on this form for your daughter but will cost you an extra $465.00 you still have to pay the biometrics fee either way. Ha, recently talked to a neighbor that spent over 600 bucks on her German Shepherd with allergy problems at her vet that didn't do any good, asked her what she was feeding her, said that stuff has wheat in it, try this brand that doesn't have wheat in it. Point is, a child is worth a lot more than a dog, any dog, and wouldn't risk your child by trying to save 465 bucks.

Another option that may or may not work would be to make an infopass appointment to get an extension on your daughter that the USCIS is doing all the time because of their long delays in processing the I-751, either an I-551 stamp on her current valid foreign passport if she has one, or bring in two color passport photos of her for an I-94 extension. These are different circumstances than letting that one year extension expire, but the results are the same. In our case, we live so far from the nearest field office, that trip costs us almost as much as the fee for the application, so I would just send in the application and pay the additional $465.00.

Just no way that I can see sending your application in 90 days early without your daughter essentially being here illegally and there is a risk involved, can hire an attorney, but his/her fee would be at least double than the USCIS fee. Seems like a no win situation you are in, just pay the 465 bucks and get it over with. Unfortunately, none of these fees are tax deductible, already checked into that. Nor is the expense of the trip unless you are a corporation that paid to get some immigrant here, then everything is tax deductible for the corporation.

Ha, a question I was afraid to ask, why are the kids also put on conditional status, they didn't have anything to do with the marriage. And what happens if the marriage does break up, and the kids want to stay with the USC? What the heck, a nice home, their very own computer, a car, money....

LOL. My daughter will definitely agree. Hubby's the cool stepdad with the cool car and knows all the cool stuff. I have been demoted from cool single mom to a not-so-cool mom to a so-not-cool fobbish mom with an accent B)

That's funny!!!!
