Hi all,

I just want to know how long it usually takes to receive instruction packages for both AOS and IV from NVC.

We have already paid our bills online and we were hoping to send the packages, but our lawyer insists on waiting until he doesn’t get those instruction packages.

ps--Our payments of both AOS and IV bills were accepted by NVC on 8th of July

Why you are waiting to receive the packages from NVC ?? You can print the cover letter for both of them online and mail the package.. Me, personally never received the instructions package till this date from NVC after paying the IV fee bill online and about AOS i got that after 2 weeks when they accepted my AOS fee (since i paid that my snail mail).

Don't wait to get the mail from NVC.. it is very slow... Just my suggestion.. Later it is upto you to make a final decision..

04/25/2008: I-130 APPROVED.

06/04/2008: Came to know about Visa Journey.com.

07/28/2010: Biometrics Appointment Letter received. Dated: 07/20/2010

08/17/2010: Biometrics appointment--- Done

10/07/2010: Approved- Green card production ordered

10/08/2010: Touched

10/15/2010: Green Card Received

N-400 Timeline

06/06/2011: N-400 mailed to AZ Lockbox

06/08/2011: AZ Lockbox received N-400 application

06/13/2011: Check cashed

Well I don't want to wait, its our lawyer :(

I will ask him to wait for another 2 weeks, if nothing then send of the package as it is.

If i was in your place, i would ask my lawyer to send it right away.. Why wasting this precious time...?? Your case can be completed by the end of July, so can get interview date in early Sept..

Dude, send everything now. There is no reason to wait. Look at my timeline. I flew through NVC. If you wait, paying online would have been a waste. All you are waiting in the package is the barcode cover sheet and you have that by paying online.

NVC Received : 2008-05-20

DS-3032 sent AOS Bill Generated : 2008-05-26

Eva emailed DS-3032 : 2008-05-30

Called NVC and got IIN number : 2008-05-30

PAID AOS Fee Online and IN PROCESS : 2008-06-02

AOS Status changed to PAID online, and updated at the NVC : 2008-06-04

AOS packet with barcode cover letter MAILED via Priority Mail : 2008-06-05

DS-3032 email accepted : 2008-06-10
