Hello everyone..i am starting to collect the requirements needed for my application of adjustment of status(AOS) and i dont have any idea of what to prepare aside from my record of departure and visa & passport...anyone who can share what they've undergone and tell me what i needed to have to submit? thank you so much guys......god bless to all of us

Yes, please do look under the Guides. I am very close to turning in our AOS papers, and the Guides have been very helpful. Also, make sure you download the instructions for Form I-485. Those instructions will tell you all the supplemental stuff you need to submit besides the Forms themselves. Don't forget to write a cover letter, though.

Listen,

Before you go to your AOS bio, they will take your wife’s fingerprints. If your wife’s fingerprints are too delicate for the scanner to read, said the FBI to us, they will ask you to come back and have them taken again. Before you go to the inital bio, go to the local police station for your area and ask them for a records check letter that will state something like, we have found no outstanding criminal proceedings or outstanding warrants for (wife new last name)

You will thank me later if you have to travel a long way to have the Bios taken. I wished I brought that letter to the first time she had here prints taken it would have saved me a lot of travel time and it costs about 15 bucks. for the letter
