07-15 Pink Slip!! Now how long does it take? Now how long does it take to get the Visa in hand?

She got the Pink slip on 07-15!!!!!!!

Does it take longer then 2 weeks to get the visa?? Anyone hear of anyone taking longer?

I am planning on flying out there on the 30th and planning on flying back on August 6th together.

Is it too early to plan the flight even though the pink slip was granted and Visa approved? She lives in Davao. Not sure if that matters? unsure.gif

hello! First of all congrats to you both! Visa delivery always varies from one case to the other...some gets it just few days after interview,and some takes more than that and even 6 weeks(like mine, but thnaks God we are through it!) due to document verification or administrative review.
But you can make a call at the embassy for infos regarding the updates of your fiancee´s visa process. They might can give you an idea. But they always advice not to make any flight reservations yet until you get to know a date for sure. Hope this help...

As I have noticed, if the applicant gets only a pink slip, no white slip, she might get her visa from 2-14 days. But if she is put on administrative review that may take a while. Im sure her visa will be released before the end of this month. Pray hard, that's all we can do right now. God bless and I hope her visa will arrive the soonest time possible! good.gif

By the way, when did she pay her document verification? Keep us posted please! rose.gif

BIG CONGRATS!!!

I'm also from Davao, I got the pink slip during my interview and received my visa 13 days after interview... a friend who was also from Davao received her visa almost 3weeks after interview... then another friend who was also from Davao got her visa just a week after interview... and yet another Davaoena, received her visa just 5days after interview. It really varies, the only sure thing is she will receive her visa soon.

It will help if you call the embassy and ask for the status of her visa: 011 632 301 2000 ext 5184 or 5185 look for Lorraine or Grace. They don't have problem accommodating inquiries from petitioner. good.gif

congrats!! it may only be for a few days if its only a pink slip! i got mine printed in 2 days and delivered 4 days (not counting sat and sun)....good luck!
Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......
