Hello.

Would appreciate your comments/clarification on the following:

I received my passport with K1 today, but my valid B1/B2 visa is not cancelled. Is that OK? Should I contact the embassy for the issue???

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

I'm sure it's OK, however I would not try to enter the US using the visitors visa. Immigration would probably admit you on the K-1 only, and if you were thinking about using just the visitors visa they might reject that.

Having said all that, if you now have the K-1 the clock is ticking and I'm sure you are ready to get here and start your life with your man.

Rina, K-1 automatically overrides the tourist visa so there's no contradiction. They should have cancelled the B-2 but probably forgot. The POE officer will most likely do it upon your entry.

BTW it's not exclusive men's club here, but be prepared to be ripped apart if you defy their ultimate authority on all things Russian and American. :lol:

09/30/2008 AOS interview - APPROVED!

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

01/14/2009 Our little girl, Fiona Elizabeth, was born on Jan. 14, 2009 :-)

This is the first I've ever heard of any woman listening to what a man had to say. Is it true?

I would love to see more women on here, but Blues Fairy is correct, we do like to "debate" the finer things in life on this website; things like pie, the real reasons behind marrying a foreigner, motivation of certain strangers, etc., and all that ends up leading to arguing with stubborn men, which I find women really enjoy. (Sarcasm, of course.)

Since you wouldn't waste your breath arguing with a bull-headed man who is most obviously wrong, why would you waste keystrokes? I understand why you ladies aren't on here more, I just hope you don't take it personally. Just remember, guys will punch each other in the face and then drink a beer together. We're not going to hold a grudge against you (and won't remember that you hold one against us) just becuase we "debated" from opposite sides of the pie spectrum.

Pie is good, but is it as good as Pi?

Either way, I usually like to eat about 3.141592653589793 pieces. Pieces of pie, of course. Not pieces of Pi, because that would be irrational. I don't mean it's a number that can't be a ratio of two integers, I mean it just wouldn't make any sense.

I agree with the rest, having two visas doesn't hurt you at all. Just understand that you will only be able to enter the US on that K-1 and not the B1/B2. Otherwise I have no experience on this subject and will learn from your experience.
