I need help, I tried to contact 1-909-101-7878 us embassy's customer service but I can't get through. They said in their website that all can contact 1-909-101-7878 through SMART or PLDT and I tried to use my SMART phone but it didn't work. I tried to go to a pay phone PLDT but they charged me 120 pesos per minute and that is over pricing I paid 480 pesos for only 4 minutes but I haven't talked to a customer service yet. It just kept ringing and hear their automated voice response with their stupid music so I hanged up and had paid 480 pesos for nothing. Does anyone here knows any alternative ways to contact customer service? If I am in manila I could have just go to us embassy and inquire but I'm living in cebu. All I just want to ask from them is what requirement do I need to pass at window X in order for me to have a request letter from them so that I can process my police clearance in Japan. Please anyone from here who can help?

thanks,

anna

I would think that the letter from the National Visa Center Would be sufficient. Another contact for visa questions is the visa information line in the states. You could have your fiance call it, or you could email them. They were helpful to me. You can actually talk to a live person during business hours, although you have to wait on the phone.

Hi,i used to handle calls for USEM (19091017878)when i was still working in PLDT.when you said you used your SMART phone,is it a SMART landline?because if it's just a smart sim on your cellphone,it wont work, you need to use either PLDT or SMART POSTPAID LANDLINE WITH IDD(Int'l Direct Dial) feature.if you dont have it,you can go to any pldt business center(call centers) near your place. The fee will be different compare to dialing direct, because they will have to pass your call thru PLDT operator and will charge you for that plus other surcharges.

Good luck and i hope you'll be able to contact them.

Is your SMART PHONE, postpaid or prepaid? If it's prepaid, it won't really work. It only works to postpaid account wherein they get monthly billings. :)

Goodluck to you. And God bless.
