FIRST LET ME SAY THAT I LOVE THIS WEBSITE I HOPE EVERYONE HAS THE BEST LUCK BY TRYING TO OBTAIN THEIR VISA. I AM IN THE U.S. AND MY FIANCE JUST RECENTLY GOT APPROVED FOR HIS I-129F PETITION. AT FIRST, I WAS JUMPING UP FOR JOY..BUT THEN I WAS LEFT WITH THE QUESTION...WHAT EXACTLY DO I DO NEXT. SHOULD I E-MAIL THE CONSULATE AND ASK WHEN THE INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULED FOR. I ALSO SAW ON THE NIGERIAN EMBASSY WEBSITE THAT YOU CAN SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW ONLINE. WHICH SHOULD I DO? I DON'T WANT TO SCHEDULE ONE IF ONE IS ALREADY MADE FOR HIM AND END UP DELAYNG THE PROCESS?? I AM ALSO READING PEOPLE'S POST CONCERNING A PACKET THEY HAVE RECIEVED FROM THE CONSULATE. DO I GET THAT DOES MY FIANCE GET THAT? I REALLY WISH ON THE NOA THEY WOULD TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO DO NEXT. THANKS GUYS!

1. Please fill in your timeline here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=51678

2. You should be receiving a letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) giving you your new embassy case number.

3. For Nigeria the packets can be picked up from the embassy. Other members from Nigeria can tell you what your fiance will need to pick up the packets.

4. The scheduling of visa interviews online is not for K visas. That is for student, visitor and other nonimmigrant visas.

5. I would suggest getting proof of your relationship material ready (pictures, phone logs, chat logs, letters, passport stamps, etc) and your I-134 and supporting documents ready.

You can also post in the Sub-Saharan Africa forum if you have any other questions: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=89
