Hello all, i have a question about how late the interview process last at the Moscow Embassy. My finance has her interview on Friday August 15, and she wants to catch a 4:30pm train back home on the same day of the interview. I was wondering if anyone knows how late they conduct in the day they conduct the interviews.

Thanks for any info. that you can give to me.

Richard

It is a cattle call as everyone begins at 8:00 am and you wait.... They try to have everyone done in early afternoon but is dependent on the number of interviewees on that day.

YMMV

Should be just fine.

I was already off the Embassy building by 10 am though was the 5th to be called for interview.

Read to help you with detailed directions for Moscow locations, like: medexam, railway stations, Embassy, DHL, etc. Write me a personal message in case you need that.

I was done by 10 and something a.m. and I was almost in the end the first groop they let in at 8 a.m. By 11 a.m. I was already in Ukraine (hotel) crying and cursing on the phone

So even if your fiancee leaves the embassy about noon she still can make it. I mean her train :D

Good luck guys! Just one more step and you'll be together!

Wow! That's quite a bit more emotional than my fiancee was when I called. I asked how she was doing, what was going on, etc., she said, "I'm fine. I just walk now on Tverskaya and look for new shoes." I actually had to ask if the interview went well and what the outcome was. She said, "Of course we got it. So, which shoes should I buy?"

Well, in our case things were a little bit complicated... I didn't get my visa 'cause they wanted permission from my ex for my daughter to leave Russia. And my ex is a nut case :bonk: No commom sense works with him There wasn't any garantee that he would sign this paper. That's why I was so upset. And plus humilation in the embassy. Now I understand why some american men hate american women  I joined their club that day

You should have no problems here in the U.S. then, most women hate each other anyway.

After Natasha finished her interview (sometime between 10 and 10:30), and came outside to give me a hug and the good news that the visas were approved, she realized she had left her handled x-ray envelope somewhere in the building! She had to sweet talk the guard, who allowed her back inside so she could go and find it. I think waiting for her to come out the second time was much more nerve wracking than the first wait, and we're talking about 3 hours pacing on the sidewalk in the snow in February in Moscow during the first wait! But she emerged with the envelope about 20 minutes later.

When I went to Moscow my buddy was carrying all of our visa and registration paperwork, plane tickets, housing receipts, etc. in a big FedEx envelope while we walked down Leningradski Shosse near Belorusskaya train station. We stopped to get a hot dog and drink or something at one of the street vendors then took off walking again.

We walked a good five minutes down the road and he calmly said, "dude, we've gotta go back because I left the envelope at that little stand back there."

My "oh $#!T" meter went into high gear but when we got back there it was at the stand where we left it and the folks working there were nice enough to put it behind the counter for us, waiting until we came to retrieve it.

That really improved my view of Moscow and it's people. Had that gone another way, I think the whole trip woud've been a lot different!
