I am sure she can. All she has to do is provide documents that prove she is receiving the pension. Also she may need to write a statement as to why she is receiving the pension.

its a hard question?

I don't know how many people have experience with this in this forum-- it would be better posted in the K-1 forum where more people are trying to figure this kind of thing out.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Not a hard answer, either.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

She should have a statement from Social Security. Have her submit a copy of that .
