hi! as far as i've experienced and the others experienced too the embassy will need and ask you the latest income tax return... i hope it helps... if you have the interview this year, they need the last year ITR...

Unless you have a co sponsor you'll be in trouble if you don't have at least the most recent year ITR or tax transcript. Eventually you may need the last 3 years ITRs or a GOOD reason for not filing.

If you gonna have a mtg, play it cool and do not panic. Rather ask for a solution to the problem trying to make things work. It doesn't guarantee a victory but being in control and choosing yr words right impresses the most. See what I mean?

Under this circumstance, give them what you have and don't worry. If CO issues you a RFE or more financial proof, follow the instruction and hope for the best.

I've read a post wherein during the interview the beneficiary was denied because the petitioner didnt have any work. But luckily, the USC was with the beneficiary, the denial was contested that same day. The USC showed every proof that he has huge amount of money like bank statements, proof of assets, etc.

But it's a case to case basis. Goodluck and gather everything that you think can help your affidavit of support. You may consider being with your fiancee during the interview.
