Good information to know.... I hope Germany is moving fast. My husband has surgery on the 20th of August. Hopefully we get a date before the surgery, or shortly after. Just not the day of. :lol: We'll see.

Can't you just talk to NVC live operator this surgery case and if you're lucky, you probably may get an interview date even before that ? Just a thought...

When do you suppose I should call? I was thinking the same thing myself... I am just unsure of when I should call.

good luck przy ! To get operator, 7:30AM is the best or late evenings.

I have 3000 minutes on my cell phone that never get used (until now) and I just got off work. I am going to be bored on VJ and attempt to get a hold of the operator. Plenty of free time.

Oh, another thing, do you think they are going to want proof that he will be operated on?

Just spoke to an NVC operator and she told me that because my husband's surgery is taking place in Germany, that there is no reason to expedite the interview. Had the surgery been in the USA, then that would have been a different story. At this point, she says they are scheduling interview for August (so that's good), but she said to give a call back next Friday to see when out interview date is. Hmm... informational, but not much help. I am wondering if I should give it a try in a couple days to see if this information is in fact correct. Seems correct, there would be no legitmate reason to expedite the interview because the surgery is in Germany... but I am going to be there for the surgery and the interview. If I could get everything done in one trip, then it would be perfect. I can't afford to miss work that much and I can't afford two plane tickets.... :whistle:
