omg!!MADE A MISTAKE ON I 129F FORM

I just found out that we made a mistake on the form that we sent...we made a mistake on marking yes on the question 17

......17.Is your fiance related to you? we didnt notice we clicked on yes

.............If you are related ,state the nature and degree of relationship. e/g third cousin or maternal uncle etc..

answer:we put N/A here..

Are we screwed?please help us...

You might have to explain the mistake at the interview. It's sort of like you answered yes but no.

For instance on the G-325a forms for our I-130 filed for my "wife" when asked to give the name of my wife, I answered "none". No problem and no questions.

You might have to explain the mistake at the interview. It's sort of like you answered yes but no.

The thing is we havent got NOA2 yet..I just checked the forms that we sent and noticed the mistakes..

I hope they will notice its a mere honest mistake..we answerd not applicable N/A on the follow up question anyway...

I made a mistake myself. I put in the wrong father. I have a step father and a birth father and put in the name of my step father, even though I should have put in my birth father. After my case had been forwarded to Frankfurt, I sent them an e-mail and asked if this is a big issue that'd cause any delays. They simply replied that we can change it when I'm there for my interview, since they have my file there. So it was no big deal at all.

I haven't had my interview yet, but I'll print out the e-mail I got from Frankfurt to show it to the officer there.

Try not to freak out, I'm pretty sure this is no big deal!

Hi thanks for this info..I really hope its not much of an issue..Should we call the USCIS right now or should we wait for NOA2 or anything from USCIS?

I really don't know. Rob and I decided to wait, because we were afraid that if we contacted the USCIS they'd pull out our case and then put it at the end of the line afterwards. We were afraid that it'd cause major delays, so we waited. But really, I don't know how the USCIS works and if it's better to contact them right away.
