Can someone tell what is easy and fast way to get my future wife to the us? getting maaried here in the us or the philippines

HI There, after my fiance proposed to me on the 2nd of november.. we thought of getting married here but he is really impatient and he heard from his sources which now i know for sure that it would take time if you rushed it and get married here in the Philippines.. If you are indeed wanting your fiancee to be with you the soonest time possible.. go to K1 visa.. that's what we did.. after 6 months.. We are approved..Im flying next month and get married in Sept.:D

Good Luck and God bless

Check my timeline...We got married in the Philippines, and my wife still isnt here. If we had it all to do over, we would have done the fiance visa route.

Good luck to you

Henry

Well if thats what you chose, then hopefully you thought it out good... and the only logical answer would be to try and be with her there. I know I would. I am 42 and can not retire here yet, but I should not have to worry if I retired there or started a new business of some sort. again its a think before u jump thing. You should consider what your wife to be wants,.. maybe a wedding with her family and friends present is very important to her. we are all a little impatient, but time doesn't stand still..she will be here before you know it. Remember its her special day, ask her what she wants.. I did the church wedding and reception that followed and I wouldn't change a thing. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DECISION Ron

I think it really depends on what service center you will be using. K-1's are faster at VSC, while the K-3's seem to take forever. It's just the opposite for CSC. K-3's are much quicker, while K-1's seem to take an eternity. (July 7 will be 150 days in the dark for us.) I'd do a little research, and reading on processing times on whatever service center you will have to use. We are going to have a civil wedding when she gets here, but after her GC arrives, we will travel back to the Phils, so we can have a proper BIG wedding in front of her family and friends.

K1 is faster than K3 but when she will be in USA u are allowed to marry her in 90 days or else she will be deported. First thing that is needed is the pictures of u and her as a proof and the rest of them are emails, chatlogs, phonebills and other stuff that certify genuine relationship for both of you. Goodluck

My fiance and I discussed that before we filed for K1. We asked friends. Then/before, K1 is faster. That's why we are filing for K1. But then, K3 visas, especially if processed in Vermont is picking up with K1 visas now. The timelines for both K1 and K3 are almost the same. According to USCIS/NVC, both take 9-12 months.

But then it's a case to case basis. We filed for K1 in Dec '07. I had my interview last July 1, now waiting for my visa.

I hope you'll get the answers you are looking for. May you be guided accordingly. Either way, goodluck! May God guide you also.
