Is everyone hanging in there? Nick/Shannon have you received anything on your package yet? Alexandra received her GC today...I must say even including our RFE bump in the road, it was much quicker than the K1 part. To not worry with USCIS for awhile will be nice but I am sure the 21 months before removing conditions will fly by.

Congratulations!!!! I agree, before a blink of an eye we will be gathering evidence again lol. I have already been looking at the lifting conditions thread to see what kind of proof will be required so as time passes I will know what kind of things to have in place and which things to keep! I think it will seem really strange not to have to be preparing for USCIS or checking the status for a few months.

Good luck to everyone who is still proceeding through this last part of the process and to those whose interview is fast approaching.

We're just waiting for USCIS to cash our check for AOS. For some reason, it isn't much of a big deal this time

We got all 3 NOA 1's yesterday so fingers crossed for a speedy resolution, I never not worked for so long in my life!!!!

BUT on the plus side Ive got to spend 7 months at home with little Rybear so more than makes up for it !!

Our check was cashed yesterday, but we haven't gotten NOA1 yet. Figure it'll arrive on Monday, when our mail is starting to get forwarded to our new address in the Seattle area. -.- I hope that it doesn't get "lost." We have been through enough junk already!

The apartment is 99% packed and I'm posting from the notebook at the laundromat (just to borrow their wi-fi, haha). Tomorrow we load up the truck, and drive out to the new digs on Monday. See you guys next week, and best wishes to all of you waiting on receiving your greencards in the mail.

Cool, so we will have about the same timeline. We sent it the 21st and it was delivered 8/24. No person's name, just L. Box. even though it went to the actual office. No cashed check yet though....

HI all I am about at the end of my rope. We have no sponsor nada and finding extra work has come to a halt. I am so close to just saying stick it all and letting him go so he does not have to watch me struggle to keep him here

I make 7.61 an hour! how will THAT keep him here!!!???!! I cry all the time and I feel like a HUGE failure.

I dont know what I can do...

We have till oct then we will be over the thing and he will be in trouble.

I think she's saying that she doesn't qualify for the affidavit of support and has no joint sponsor. I'm sorry, Meri. Is it possible for you to relocate elsewhere? The quad-cities area is kind of deadsville for jobs, I should know... Either way, I wish you all the best for both you and Kai.

Cham, I am so sorry that things are so difficult. Do you own property that you could use to back up your affidavit for support? That may help with a shortfall. I really hope that you find a way around this. Dont give up, you still have time. Pull off of each others strength, this time you are together as opposed to filing for K1. I sincerely hope that you manage to find a way through this.
