Bonne Chance Juliette.!!!Are you ready? Mentally prepared? I'm sure that you'll do great.

Dillon - I just started looking at civil ceremony plans. I've found a few dresses on jcrew and ann taylor that I like. None of them are perfect but one is close. I'd put a link here but I'm sure that it wouldn't work. I'm thinking a white/ivory/cream etc dress. Calf-length (I think they call it tea-length), v-neck, shoulders showing.

On the JCrew Website:

Metallic Rose Madison Gown - in a diff material. not metallic. shorter and of course not $1000

Silk Tricotine Sophia Long Dress - this is the closest dress to what i want. I could do w/o the sash/empire waist and shorter. But I really like this one and the price is right. and instead of the crossing at the bust, i'd just like a v-neckline.

what are your wedding plans?

Oooh, Koakland! Go with the JCrew Sophia! I bought the short version in ivory and it is gorgeous. The silk is really soft and it feels like a dream. I'll be wearing it for our legal ceremony at the judge's office.

Good luck Juliette! You must be so excited!

you can order it short?? cuz i'll order it asap if I can. I don't really want to do a lot of dress shopping.

As for other plans, I'v started looking at a few restaurants for the lunch afterwards. There will only be about 10-13 people. My friend is helping me out because I really have no clue about this stuff at all.

Oh, and just a tip- I found mine at Gabriel Brothers for $19.99. It's worth looking there if you have one locally! I've even seen some full length JCrew gowns there for under $100.

Alternatively, mine is a size 4 and I'll have no use for it after March 13th. I'd be more than willing to send it your way for the cost of shipping!

:( There is no Gabriel Brothers in CA. Thanks for the tip though. I'm a bit more motivated to shop around online. Wearing your dress could work :) but if i can find it for under $100 then I'll just get one. I'll let you know but thanks thanks thanks for offering!

Good luck for tomorrow Juliette!

That's a very pretty dress Koakland... I've some idea of what I'm wearing, but it looks more like we are having a 'wedding' wedding that we thought, so I'll need to take another look at that.

It is very quiet here on the week-ends...which for me fall on my Sunday Monday. I think people are just busy...heaven knows I am. I've worked out that there are only two weeks left to go, and plenty to do in that time.

I had a look, not for the first time, but an actual good look last night at the AOS info....all I could think was omg...here we go again, with NOA1's and paperwork, and documents....and then I thought stop worrying about this now! It's all here on VJ, and you haven't got to do it all on your own. We will still all be a family here, and then..there's Vegas!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Very pretty dress Koakland. I am going back and forth trying to decide if we are going to do a civil wedding and then just do something later or just go ahead and do a little ceremony with friends and family. I guess it will depend on if everyone would be able to make it or not in the June/July time frame. I have it all planned out in my head though. LOL!

GOOD LUCK JULIETTE! Can't wait to hear about your approval!

After 7 months of waiting and on Valentines day my Fiancée received Package 3 from GUZ. I know, it is not as exciting as getting the PINK but to her this is huge as she finally can put her hands on something for this long K1 process.

This is how it went down. I was on the phone with her that morning and was just filled out that online form on GuangZhou Consulate’s site asking when we can expect our P3. After we send the form out online, she went out to lunch with her parents. While she was walking out, I hear this loud scream from her. I thought she must saw or stepped in something disgusting. Then I heard her say we got p3, we got p3…..

Her mother saw the package first, laying on a table in the front office of her apartment. Since the writing on the label wasn’t clear she didn’t realized it was her Daughter’s P3. Even when she was reading it, she keeps on saying it was not for her Daughter, till my Fiancée saw USA on the label that she started to scream. I can imaging how happy she was.

We filled our the form together and she send it out the next day. So, looks like our interview will be End of March, beginning of April.

Terri and Seb that dress is gorgeous.

Koakland, hope you manage to find it for under $100, it will look stunning.

For thinking i was organised i have realised i'm not! lol So much to try and get done and so little time left (under 2wks now).

And the fact i need to sleep all the time, i sit down for 5mins and i'm asleep! I thought you were exhausted AFTER you had the baby!!!lol

Definately on for meeting up 2010, Vegas sounds great, we've no other plans yet so whenever suits the majority.
