04/08/09- NOA1 for AOS and EAD (we didn't apply for AP)

04/22/09- Case Transferred to CSC

04/24/09- Biometrics Appointment

05/22/09- EAD card production ordered

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

07/24/09- Green card received in the post!

March 30th - received SSN

April 25th - Married

April 27th - Changed name on SSN

May 12th - AOS paperwork sent

Aug 20th - Interview in Philly

Aug 21st - GC production ordered

Aug 24th - Welcome to the USA letter received

Aug 31st - Rec'd son's GC

Sept 2nd - Rec'd my GC ....all set for 2 years now

LIFTING CONDITIONS

June 20th sent I-751 to Vermont

June 25th received at Vermont.

June 27th NOA date

July 2nd Packet returned as section not filled in correctly---how stupid am I?!?!?

July 5th Packet sent back (overnight delivery) to USCIS with form filled in correctly

July 6th Packet received and signed for at Vermont

August 18th Biometrics Appointment in Philly........JULY 27TH EARLY BIOMETRICS DONE

Hey you guys!! We also got approved two days ago! It all went really fast since we had NOA 2 and I will be flying over to my fiancé next week when the visa and my passport have arrived!

I always was a June filer but read here a lot when it got quiet because all others from june already were approved. Thank you guys for all your help and I wish you all the best!!

I have a question for any CR-1 filers... Esp those from Amman embassy. Were there any additional fees you had to pay upon your interview? Hubby has interview in a couple of days-GOSH its time!- and he wants to make sure he takes enough green with him... thanks for any help!-Amy

May 29,2008- flew to Jordan June 1, 2008-started the long CRAZY process of standing in line, waiting for stamps, and being sent from one office to another only to pay another fee and find another line! June 3,2008-The HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE! Wish I had some advice for you - this is in the K1 bit, ya might want to find a cr1 thread and post there... might get a little more help. Good Luck!!!

Tonight's my bachelorette party!

Except this week I had two root canals and got a pretty severe gum infection, which means I'm on heavy pain killers and antibiotics- so no big night on the town as planned. Yay for looking like a chipmunk and pretending to be 13 again with a bunch of chick flicks and ice cream. :(

Ouch, I remember looking like that when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I hope all the swelling goes away for your big day. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's wedding pics!

And I am bummed. I thought I'd have Monday off since no classes, but apparently my boss decided to change my normal work schedule in light of the university's day off. So no day off until next month. =(
