So happy for you. Don't let the sleepless nights and feedings and diapers make you too stressed or drained. It's probably best that Nick has some automatic "time off" to stay home to help.

the sleepless nights, being drained and stressed out are finally OVER for a while!! Dealing with immigration totally trumps anything our little man can throw at us! Hehe!

This... now - this is the good stuff... and I will never forget that or take it for granted

And thanks everyone for all the well wishes for safe travels for Nick... I'm sure tomorrow he'll be more than eager to post his POE experience. Iiiiif he can type holding Ryan

Congrats on your safe arrival to america. I am so happy for you both nick and shannon, I know how you have both waited for this day , it brings tears to my eyes because I can just imagine how happy you both are feeling right now. so happy for you both. You are both great and have helped me alot with the process in the past .

Keith and I have talked and today in a email chat back and forth , he took my hand for the first time since he left so who knows.. a new saying that I have found... two people who are meant to be will always find there way in the end.

Fingers crossed for all of you who are still waiting, whatever point you're upto.

All I can say its the most amazing feeling to walk thro the POE knowing that all the stress and hard work is finally at an end. I couldnt help but smile as he looked at me and said "welcome to the US"

when i got to the cutoms bit the guy asked for my passport and said

" how long are you staying"

"forever" I said

He looked at me kinda strange until I said, "yep here to get married and I'm never leaving her again"

The girl sat with him shrieked " AWW thats soo sweet let him thro"

The guy looked at me and said, "well you made her her day, have a great time and good luck" no paperwork needed no declaration of stuff i was bringing in etc!

NICE AND EASY and such a relief. I dont think it's sunk in yet that I'll not have to leave!

Just thought I'd drop a note to let you know I'm still alive and lingering.

Andy finally received his police certificate today. It's been over a month since he'd sent in the 2nd application for it, for a total of ~3 months of waiting for it.

Days off are officially over, as I start my weekend floral designer job at Michael's this Saturday.

Everything else is the same. Except my mother heard me say #### for the first time tonight (lol) in regards to an art history class. How I've sheltered her!

Andy and I shared some much needed laughter watching old "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" clips. This is one of the most side-splitting in case you need a laugh, too.
