I have a question, do you know if I can send the paper they want from France ? I'm sure that it is cuz' of my divorce... So I will get the document ready, wait for Jamie to open the mail with the RFE and send the paper to the US from here.

Do you know what is the most secure and fast way to do it ? UPS ?

I'm so sad !!!

:( I'm sorry Juliette. I don't know if you can send it from France directly to CSC. For RFE's I think you have to send the RFE and the additional information back to CSC together. My fiance sends me stuff in the regular french mail and it arrives to me in about a week. I'm sure that you'd know better than me. Sorry though.

I just called my man and he told me that with FEDEX it is very fast, expensive but fast...

I know you want it there ASAP, but I've had bad experiences with FEDEX. I paid a lot for next day shipping when we mailed the I-129F and it took 4 days to get there. I would have just sent it through the US postage and saved myself $65 if I'd known!

Everyone's rings are BEAUTIFUL! Shannon & Nick, we're thinking of getting ours engraved at some point. I'm getting a diamond band but a cheap Walmart one or something to wear to work everyday. I can't bear the thought of ruining the diamond one! So we might get those engraved. Hmmm, aside from pics of red dresses and engagement rings, how else can we distract ourselves?

I'm all up for ideas! :)

Hi Julie, I have just sent back my documentation required for the RFE so know how you feel.

You have to send the original RFE back to them with the documentation they request, and I am afraid the only way to know what it is they want ,is to wait until they send you the RFE.

Dont know whether this helps any. Keep your chin up, at least you know they are working on your case and in my mind, once you have supplied the documentation, the next step is the NOA2 as they have all the paperwork they need.

Good luck and dont let it intrude on your holiday xx

Thank you for your support. I'm sad cuz' today they opened my case and it could be an approval. But I'm kinda relaxed to see that they are working on my case. I'm kinda sure to know what they want, so tomorrow I will get this paper translated and send it to Jamie. By the time the translation will be done, I'm sure that Jamie will receive the RFE mail. I'm tryin' to stay positive but this process drives me nuts. They need 4 months and half to say : we need further informations.

Here is the engagement ring we got for Rob, i wear the matching one on my right hand.

We were going to have these as our wedding bands, but it doesn't look right with my engagement ring!

Mo Anam Cara is Irish gaelic for My Soul Mate.

My only shipping advice is dont use DHL. They have 1 foot in the grave here. I have had good luck with upgraded USPS Express Mail, FedEx Global Express and regular FedEx. I'm sure France has something similar. The key is a tracking number and express.

I would just look at the RFE as a letter that says you're 2 weeks away from NOA2. We're still stuck in limbo here.

Good Luck.

NOA 2. Really?

Distraction Idea - When I'm bored, antsy, need to occupy my mind, I listen to This American Life radio shows online, the archives. If you've never listened to This American Life, I highly recc that you do. If you're bored at work - doing something tedious and mindless - TAL is the perfect entertainment. I've been listening to some archived radio shows this afternoon. Puts me in a good mood. www.thislife.org

any other ideas on how to occupy your time/mind?
