Hello,

My wife is scheduled for her K-1 spousal Visa interview in two weeks at the Montreal Consulate.

My question is does anybody know how long after the interview it takes to get the Visa?

Any info will be helpful, Thanks!

K1 is a fiance visa, not spousal visa.

It probably only takes a few days to get the visa depending on what further processing is required after the interview.

Oh Thank God! We've been waiting 12 months, I was just hoping it wasn't another couple months after the interview, Thanks!

My fiance's was June 11 (wednesday) and we got it the following Monday June 16, so 5 days for us.

Good luck!! Montreal took a long time to schedule the interview, but the experience there was worth it. Very nice and organized.

3/5/11 sent LOC paperwork

Drop into the Canada forum for lots of Canada/US information! You know you need an Xpressport Envelope for the interview?

I just put up a little blog about my approval this past Monday and hope it helps you in both directions!!!!

They are pretty great for processing if all of your stuff is in order(originals and copies etc!!!!!)

And it is no longer than a week if you have your XpressPost envelope together!!!!

Hope this helps????

Mike
