I Sent the huge packet of I-134 and all supporting documentation to Shuyan Fed Ex on July 2nd I am worried...She said she need sit to take to her medical appointment? I know I was finishing this under alot of presure I sent it sort of late but I wanted to have it perfect the cover letter and all the supporting evidence. I know Fed Ex takes a few days due to customs but I did not think she needed this for the medical exam? Anyways its all off now and sent signed notarized and ready ....Wish Us Luck!!!!

Thanks Jay

I've never heard of the I-134 being needed for the medical.

It isn't needed for the medical but many do the medical and interview on the same trip to Guangzhou. In that case, she needs everything before she leaves for GUZ.

The instructions for the I-134 only require the following unless you are self employed: The completed and notarized I-134; the letter from the bank with the date opened, account balance, deposit total for past year; letter from employer with salary, date and nature of employment, whether employment is temp or permanent. You also must include info on bonds if you have any. Self employed is different.

The I-134 is submitted with the OF-169 as part of package 3.

When I had my medical in my country I did not need it. To my knowledge the Affidavit of Support is required only at the time of the interview & not during the medical exam. Maybe rules differ from country to country but as you can read from the replies to your post so far, they have a common answer, so take it & worry no more...
