hi ...i need some brains. is there a timeline set for a foreign fiancee to fly to the US after the K1-visa is issued? Like : if K1-visa is issued by June, can i fly to the US in 3 months? the reason im asking is... my PR application is on file here in cananda and im pretty sure our K1 application will come out first. i will surely appreciate your ideas. Thanks.

You have 6 months from the day your visa is issued to activate it (use it) at the point of entry to the US.

Jan 17, 2014 N-400 submitted

Jan 27, 2014 NOA received and cheque cashed

Feb 13, 2014 Biometrics scheduled

Nov 7, 2014 NOA received and interview scheduled

K1 is valid for six months after it is issued.

You have a pending PR application??....under what basis??? family??

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
