You want them CERTIFIED by the issuing agency as certified copies of the original that they maintain in their original book of records.

it is not necessary to notorize copies. If USCIS wants to see an original document they will send You an RFE. The only notorized document You should need is AFFidavit of Support.

Unless you like visiting your notary - you don't have to notarize anything other than the I134. My notary is next to the Hooters restaurant but I don't visit the notary too often!
