ever heard of it?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

If that is truly what's going on, then I wish they would just post something saying "If you filed I-130 you're going to have to wait longer than usual because we are processing N-400s" They did that when the had all that traffic last year when the fees were being increased. Wouldn't make anyones loved ones arrive quicker, but at least would know what's going on, instead of having to get a congressman involved.

if its 2 years....fine i can suck it up plan and deal with it.

3 years, I'll have to weigh our options.

5 years.... that sucks at least i can give the middle finger salute and leave.

but this unknown no information no estimation is lower treatment than a criminal gets....they have a right to a trial within a reasonable amount of time. We haven't a effin thing.

Is there a way to request a change of service centers?

I asked that and answer is NOPE.

USCIS has none of the characteristics that make this country great, UCSIS would be a much better fit for some hardcore dictatorships out there. USCIS is treating US Citizens and their spouses in an inhumane way, keeping families in a limbo for an unknown period of time, giving priorities to other applications. Shame on you USCIS, and your leadership, you have shown a complete disregard for the families of US Citizens. It is a shame for the leader of the developed world to have such an agency that torments its citizens and their families. I had to see it (and go thru it) to believe something like this could happen in this country. I feel ashamed that my wife has to go through this.

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.
