I was feeling just what you are feeling until today. I've only been waiting for one month and a half, although I was panicking because of IMBRA. But today we finally heard something very positive regarding IMBRA. The new form is THERE for us to see, now we KNOW there will be a new form that we'll have to fill and send to substitute what we had previously filed. Reading the draft we also KNOW that only those with a crime record will have to submitt any extra forms which means we don't have to go after police records now. Also, the new form has an emergency review on it, meaning they'll do their best to get it up soon, and that even if it's not emergency it has gone to the 30-day notice meaning that now we also KNOW when the wait ends, which will be on July 1st, at the worst case scenario. The moment I saw it won't be MONTHS waiting and the moment I knew for sure what happened (now we KNOW) I can calm down a bit and just the usual anxiety of seeing things happening in our case. What freaked me out the most was not knowing ANYTHING, and now I DO know things, so am I anxious? HELL YEAH! Am I nervous? OF COURSE! Am I angry at this? SURE! But we know!

id have to agree with laura. I guess all of us felt wary plus a whole roaller coaster of emotions these past couple of weeks because we had to look everywhere for answers and once we have thought that we already have the answers then we realize that these are mere speculations. Is it just me or perhaps this whole topic /forum allowed everyone to empathize as well as sympathize with people who are in the same boat as us... sort of our little support group.

glad to know you guys.

hang in there kitkat at least now we have a bit of a direction. we at least know that they have a form that they are getting ready to send out. i know it has been a tedious process for all of us. it's actually draining but then again look at the bright side of things, we will be united. someday... hopefully sooner than later

hmm im not sure if you will need another questionnaire. perhaps its going to be an RFE since it has already been filed. i dont think we have to start start from the very beginning if thats what youre asking. Unless the USC has a criminal background of some sort then i guess more evidence would be needed, but if you dont then all we have to do is fill this sheet out and send it in.

06/05/06 - Angry as hell at the government for its incompetence in handling the IMBRA law

06/14/06 - Touched with a NOA1 notice from CSC. Great. Next time the government decides to take over health care or some other important/large enterprise, remember the IMBRA fiasco and be glad you were not waiting for a heart transplant.

well as written in the new form you dont even have to send in a police record if you dont have a criminal background at all. Just to answer a few questions thats it. Actually that new form just adds a few questions and if you didnt do anything bad :) you are good.

I got transfered to CSC as well. My NOA1 was dated May 9th. :(

If only people that have a criminal background need to fill in the new sections of the I-129F, then why would people without a criminal history need to fill out a new I-129F? Why wouldn't the one they have be enough?

Don't tell me they are going to make me fill that paper out all over again, just to put a check mark in a box. :angry:
