hi its me again.paulit ulit po ako nagpopost dahil sa kawalan ng alam. at dkopo makuha ang tamang kasagutan sa question ko. im done with my interview(june 24). got the pink slip, i paid the delbros right away. but i got home na dko pa bnayaran ang visa fee ko. IR-1 po ang category ko. my hinihingi po ung consul sakin additional document w/c is the I-864 of co-sponsor even if na meet namn ng hubby ko ang required annual income and verified n ito ng NVC syempre. i thought kelangan ko muna magcomply before paying the visa fee. so i ask the guard kung ok na, showed my papers. pede n raw. but sa kababasa ko ng mga forums sa VJ, pede nb talaga magbayad before the interview, or even on the interview date? eh its been 3days after my interview ngaun ko lng nalaman to. ok lng po ba magbayad khit ilang days n nkalipas? dun din po ba sa USEM pede ang payment? my hubby didn't pay the $400 fee to the NVC so ako ang mgbabayad nito. HELP ME PLS..hirap talaga ng first time. :help:

Heno,

in my understanding, the interview fee should be paid before the interview. One of your DS forms will be stamped by the bank (BPI) personnel and that form will be checked at hindi ka nila i-interviewhin if you didnt pay it. Try to PM those who are on IR-1, maybe they can shed light on your questions.

have a good day :)

Me and my husband went through the K3 route so I am not very familiar with the IR-1 visa. I understand that you got the pink slip and paid for the visa delivery fee, which means you got approved. As for the I-864 affidavit of support from co-sponsor (I-864A), have you indicated or submitted some other documents that you were having a co-sponsor? What did the consular officer tell you when the interview concluded? You might wanna contact the US Embassy immediately before you pay anything and to clarify your worries.

Hi there Heno I-864 is the affidavit of support and you really need to submit it with US Lawyers Notary. Then your Visa Fee should be paid by your hubby in US and Im sure your not the one who got your interview sched but your hubby right? So ask your hubby about it.

Yeah right. kc magulo sha kausap. kala nya ung $400 n binayaran nya s nvc is for visa processing only kala nya my bayad din ung visa issuance na $400 din. kya super nalito ko. actually nata2wa nalang ako sa pinost ko. ganun talaga marunong ang nagta2nong. naenlighten din sha last time n nag usap kami. nagba2sa me d2 sa VJ ng mga topics at forums kya naintindihan ko na at ayaw panga nya maniwala nung una. thanks sa msg ha. by the way why did the consul ask you proofs that your husband is earning more than 34k? di ba naki2ta naman un sa ITR na sinubmit nya s NVC?
