Nearing 1 year of waiting at VSC

WHY?!?! WHY!?!?!? WHY?!?!?

:crying: :crying: :crying:

According to a congressional liason at VSC, everything is order with my petitions. No problems. Nothing. I have never received an RFE. Nothing.

My congressman has been told it is at the final stage awaiting a decision. But he has been told the same thing for months now.

All I can say is #######?!?!?!?!?!

Don't know how much more waiting I can deal with.

I have no life without my wife.

*hug* I am sooo sorry! I want to cry just reading this because I know how you feel. I was getting a little emotional yesterday as my family and I were talking about the Amnesty thing and how I don't think it's fair with all of us who are waiting and are separated from our spouses and family members for long periods of time because we are trying to do things legally. My heart goes out to you. We are here if you need to vent! Hang in there!

awww... so sad.. :crying: :crying: even the_dip_sticks got his approval.. I hope that you and I get approved real soon.. are you going to do a writ of mandamus soon? The lawyers are still preparing the writ of mandamus.. about 2 weeks now, and I sent reminders as to when it will be done.. they will send a draft soon and let me revise it (so I can put the info about local office interview and FBI Letter); I think those are the two important stuff on my case.. if you are going to do it, try to get some info that will help your case.. things that USCIS did but was a mistake..

I feel sorry for you, you're not alone, keep on calling them, bug them, they need to do something.

It sucks when your documents are just collecting dusts in their office! Its so hard being in this situation.

Keep on being patient.I hope and pray you will get your approval very soon!

I wish there is something we all can do. I understand your feelings and I agree that being away from your spouse is torturous! I don't accept their explanation that every case is different. The only way it can be different is if they make prejudice judgment on a petition. We all use the same forms, provide similar information. We all have the same object, which is to bring our spouse here. How can each case (family petition) be so different where one is approved faster than others.

I wish all the luck to you and all of us waiting through this senseless USCIS process.

WHY?!?! WHY!?!?!? WHY?!?!?

I really feel for you. And it scares me a little that it can go on so long without any sign of why. I keep thinking it has to be today that I hear something....I can't think how I'm going to feel if it gets to October and we are still no nearer.

I'm beginning to lose all hope for this process

Man, just hang in there, the current drama eventually be over....don't have anything else to say for us stuck in this inhumane process. For newbies reading this, researching what to do I do have a good tip: stay away from filing I-130 here in US at all cost, because once you're stuck you're stuck. Look into DCF, K1's, nanny visa  , whatever works.

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.

An October 2007 I-130, I-129F filer.

Should've played the Green Card Lottery instead - it's less random and more reliable.

This truly sucks! It is a crime, your applications have been sitting at the service center for so long.

Have you submitted your Affidavit of Support yet even????

He means that his I 130 petition is still waiting approval, it has not even made it to NVC yet and he is at almost a year of waiting :crying: Sorry Jon I really dont understand what is taking them so long with your case, maybe name check I guess or perhaps your SO's job. I really hope they get moving on it soon.

I swear reading all this just makes me punch things

If my wife isnt here in 3 months I am peacing out from this joint

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

yay, all these people support you, jonbless... why don't you try the writ of mandamus (well, only as a last resort like me).. I'm not sure how long I should wait before moving back there.. I think I'll stick with my original deadline in my signature.. with 600+ days, it should be good to say it's over.. It will be harder for us to live in China, but at least we can be together and start a family..
