Morning Guys,

Rusty again here, had my packet 3 through last week. Have spent like 3 days filling out the very tedious forms :S now anyone who has had the forms through knows that at the top its show the procedures.

1) complete and send off forms below (DS-156/157 etc)

2) collect all information (police cert/birth certificate etc)

3) Arrange medical

4) send back packet to embassy to arrange interview

right... so i filled in all the forms and have just realised that (either DS-156 or DS-157, dont have to hand) require the inclusion of police cert/birth cert/financial support to be included with it. Am i reading this wrong and do i just send off the form and ignore the text at the bottom or do i now have to wait till i get all that information for step 2 before i can send off? it is rather contradicting and as you know from my previous posts i get confused easily!

i hope that spam made sense, i hope someone can answer my question and i dont have to wait in a que calling them again.

Kind Regards

Rusty.

You do not have to send back any documents. Only the forms and the checklist!!!! Documents will be for interview stage

The IV15 (says that in bottom right corner) pages 1-4 is the Checklist. If you will look at STEP FOUR on page 4 it says

When you have collected all the required documents and have marked each item with a check mark, please complete and sign the section below, then return pages 1, 2, 3, & 4 of this packet to the Embassy.

You do realize that the point of the checklist is to certify that you have all those things checked in your possession? They want you to have all your stuff together in your hands before you send the checklist back. They don't want people to show up at the interview and say, "I don't have my marriage certificate or police certificate because they got lost in the mail." You can send the DS forms back now and the checklist later or send them all together in one mailing. It's not a bad idea to hand write your LNDxxxcase number on the top of each page of the checklist just in case they get separated or something.

The next question you might ask is which address to mail it to--the one on the cover letter or the one on page 1 of the IV15 checklist. We used the one on page 1, the Visa Branch at 5 Upper Grosvenor St.
