I recently submitted my I-751. I wanted to include as much evidence as I could, so I ended up with at least 50 pages, including the 2 tax returns.

I was having a hard time sorting through pictures, and ended up sending a whole bunch. After the adrenaline from compiling and sending that package died down, this thought kept bugging me : "What the heck was I thinking, sending that many pictures??"

About 10 pics-a couple from wedding and reception, a couple with husband's family, a couple with my family, a couple from travel, a couple from home. I think that is it. Made sure that they span through years (which you can see from short to long haircut of mine, and hubby from being chabby to slim and me opposite :)

We only sent about 10 photos. Hasn't been long since we filed though so I'm not sure if it was enough yet!

I was planning to send many pictures but at the end I just photocopied the pictures since I misplaced the negatives of the pictures. I don't want to send the original ones since I cannot reprint them anymore and I know they will not return the pictures back to me. Hope it's okay. Otherwise if they ask for the original ones, I'll send it to them.

We sent 12 - each of us with each other's families, with friends, with grandkids and with cats:-). We just printed them on our home printer on regular paper - not photo paper. Don't expect an RFE but too early to tell yet - it has only been 4 months.

At 19 cents at Walgreens, sent a buck's worth, why? To let them know we are real people and just not names on a sheet of paper. Included our four Wisconsin seasons, winter snow, spring bosoms in the background, a couple of summer shots at state parks, and with our beautiful fall colors in the background with daughter and dog. Why? To show at least we spend a year together, two years would be redundant, but they had the tax returns for that, plus a bunch of other stuff. Could have sent a hundred affidavit letters, all notarized, but four was enough. And gave a personal invitation to the USCIS to visit us, but they never showed up.

We sent five photos, but at this point I believe they are more interested in seeing financial involvements like tax returns, joint bank accounts, life insurance policies and other jointly held items like credit cards, rental agreements, loans, etc.

Its been about a month since the biometrics, so I hope they will be starting on the finalization of the permanent green card. I have to do this again at the end of the year for her son and just want this to stop for a long time.

No requirement on sending photos, at our initial interview with a woman officer, we took in our wedding album and she and my wife had a blast looking at the some odd 300 photos we had in there. So took that as a hint to send in some photos. Laid down wife's step daughter's and my driver's license and SS card and printed out a color photo of that, but still took 14 months before they got their green cards from the time we sent in the application. Was really to make an infopass appointment then they finally came in.

Share your view in getting the USCIS out of our lives, been well over five years now since my wife and I starting getting serious and it's like they have a hammer over our lives. We did apply for the N-400 and wife has her interview scheduled in 26 days from now for citizenship so the end is in sight. Daughter turned 18 so has to wait the five year period, she could have rushed it by joining the guard, two of her girlfriends did, gave them seven weeks of training at an MP school in Texas and send them to Iraq. That is crazy, sending baby girls with guns to do a man's job, none of them can even open a jar of pickles. My daughter is scared to death of guns.
