Italian, American, or Filipino food? What are some Filipinas favorite food here to eat?

foods that i like might not be the food that she likes but why not try to cook your specialty? i bet she will be impressed with it :) OR you can cook filipino food, i think she will be more impressed with that :) . that is just my suggestion :D

I hate to brag HAHAHAHAHA

but I made home made Spaghetti and meatballs and real garlic toast.. I mean the sauce and meatballs was totally home made from scratch that morning before I headed to the airport that afternoon. We had a arrival party my house at 1am because her flight was 2 hours late. Zandy was so impressed her with the dinner I prepared :)

I bought 2 Filipino cookbooks already. I want to cook something special for her first meal.

I already practiced cooking chicken adobo and sinigang. I was thinking of making her

spaghetti and meatballs but am not sure yet. I used to work as a chef for 20 years and can

cook just about anything for her. Just want it to be something she will love :innocent:

He didn't cook... we stopped by at Burger King close to our house and grabbed some burgers, fries and soda. The next morning, he prepared American breakfast (hash browns, bacon, eggs, coffee and toast) for me to make up for it. :thumbs:

i know whatever you'll cook will be much appreciated. you may take into consideration what type of food she likes when you came to the Philippines for a visit. any fave? if you cant think of none, just cook your specialty then introduce her to new tastes as you go along.

with regard to spaghetti, we are getting to love italian style spaghetti but some Filipinos cant get sweet style spaghetti out of their system..so it depends..:)

There is a Filipina market in North Kansas City @ 80th and N. Oak Trfwy and China Town Market @ 4th and Grand, downtown Kansas City. If you decide to cook Filipino food, everything you need will be at these stores...

american meatloaf :) yummy... with mashed potatoes

Rotessiery chicken from Windixie since our plane from CA arrived in Tampa at 6pm and had to drive 1 and1/2 hour to the house so we stopped by at Windixie to buy one. Following morning, I cooked her corn beef ( her favourite breakfast) with rice and egg. :)

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

She hasn't ever had turkey, buffalo/bison, or venison/deer, so those are on my list of things to prepare for her. Oh, and of course, she hasn't had Mexican food so I'll prepare some tacos and burritos for her :)
