So, any new news from anyone? I hate to see this thread sink to the bottom, while the Vermont June Filer thread chugs along...

no news...............still waiting............but if I do have any I will be sure to put it in this thread and the June Vermont Filers

Lets hope that the amount of approvals going through picks up soon

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 6, 2008 and November 23, 2008*.

Appointment letter received: 11/10/08

Interview schedule: 11/14/08 - Passed

Visa Received : 11/22/2008... thank God...

US Entry : 12/03/2008

Marriage : 02/14/2008

I sent the application in June and only got NOA1 havent heard anything. I am loosing hope.

Whats touched?

I am new at this.

we did too and still nothing, just have to sit and wait and wait , wait ,wait, and hope that by end of month all june fillers get NOA2, do not lose hope it will come......................

Vermont is really slow right now. I noticed no approcals so much... Really frustrating

AOS

06-15-09..... Sent AOS Package

06-25-09..... Recieved NOA AOS EAD AP

06-29-09..... Recieved Biometrics appointment for July 21

07-10-09..... Case transfered to California

08-05-09..... AOS Card production ordered

08-06-09..... AP approval sent

08-06-09..... EAD Card production ordered

08-11-09..... Got my GREENCARD

08-13-09..... Got my EAD card and AP

Don't worry, vermont is moving. I know two people that got processed yesterday. One got an approval straight away and the other an RFE. Relax.

I am new at this.

Dont loose hope yet, it is witing the processing time, go take a look at Igors list and you will see how many people who received NOA1 in June are still wating, me included.

Touched - when you check your status on the USCIS website and register an account you can check your status if you have not done so already. It will give a date of the last time your case was handled as the date will change but not the status. This is a touchwhen it changes, it just might mean the date it was allocated to an officer or when it has been looked at. From what I see with Vermont many of us get a couple of touches early on quite close together and then nothing. Our NOA1 was 20th June and then 2 touches quite close last one the 7th July and we have had nothing since then

Heya everyone!! :)

We're a June filer and no touches since 9th September!! Argh... we received our NOA1 on 24th June... but they still haven't cashed the cheque yet, they did state that they received it and gave us the EAC receipt number. I'm really getting wayyyyy too anxious about what's going on over in VSC!!! Arghhh!! anyone knows any other people that's been approved??? how long else would it take? would it be wise to call them??

I would think its not a good sign if they didn't check your cash because thats what USCIS usually does first too.

I would call them. However, they at least touched your case so you are in the system :)

Oh #######! This isn't a touch, this is approval!!!!

On October 7, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Mail won't show up until this afternoon. Just tried calling the 1-800 number, no one on duty yet.

What now? What am I supposed to do next????

What you do now is wait again, it will go to NVC and then they will forward it to your embassy and then they will send you packet 3

So I would suggest looking at the guides and example forms to see what you need to prepare for the next stage

Congrats on your NOA2! Don't forget to fill in your timeline...

God, I want my NOA 2 too...I cannot wait anymore. I just wanna know that I can actually make it to be with my fiance for new years at least. I am so depressed today. Bahhh....I hate myself for that.
