He does know and is awake. I am not sure who is up there with him, but the nurse did say he was not alone.

I hope he gets the strength to get through this. I think I'd just crumble. God this is just completely awful.

i just can't come to grips with this ... i wish there was some way i could come be with you jackie. lets talk tonight at the campfire ok. I just couldn't do anything last night but lay there and stare at the ceiling... anyone else who wants to come join us, come on to SL and sit with us..there's plenty of room.

No one knew a car sound like Dawn. When Hatem first started driving a cab, he would call her and imitate the noise it was making,,then she would diagnosis it. Like a 'crrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhch' with an arabic accent was the rotors. A hisssssssssssss followed by smoke under the hood was a hot radiator. We would sit over coffee and laugh crazily over the car noises.

She was his own personal GPS. He would get lost several times a day and he would call home to her on the computer. She could then give him turn by turn directions. Eventually he learned his way around Chicago. Heck I even used Dawn for directions. When I was lost in Houston, I didn't call amal (i would have ended up in louisiana if i did that) I called Dawn.

I want you all to know her like I did.

with the gentleman that pass here at work there was a memory book i guess thru the funeral home that you could access thru the computer to leave your thoughts/messages know of anything like this for her

When we learn the name of the funeral home, I'll post the link and they should have a book for everyone to sign. thx for thinking of that.

Love the memory book idea... I have no memories of her but my heart still goes to him and they're family.... you know even in class today I am more somber.

I realize that I am indeed blessed by angels here and above. As I'm sitting here updating everyone and reading the different news reports, there is a knock at the door. I have a flower delivery. Now this is the first time in my life that I have had a flower delievery.

I whacked weeds now I'm gonna scoop poop. cuz I am g-l-a-m-o-u-r-o-u-s......... no cuz there is no one else here to scoop.

I miss Alexis so so much! She has been vactioning in Wisconsin for 5 days. She comes back tommorrow night and I can't wait to see her on Friday! She has been to the Dells (what is left of it) and hanging out in the country with horses and a swimming pool. Jessica has missed her alot.

Can you see I am putting off scooping?
