Found this through Google:

A CENOMAR is not a requirement for marriage. It is only essential if you want to be certain that the civil status of the person you are marrying is still single and that he or she is unattached. So if you have doubts regarding the civil status of your future spouse, it might be a good idea to procure a CENOMAR. At times, a CENOMAR may be required by certain parishes. It may also be required if your future spouse is applying for a fiancee visa in your behalf. Moreover, Philippine embassies may also require a CENOMAR for Filipino nationals who wish to get married in a foreign country or in the Philippine Embassy within the foreign country."

When the interview gets closer, you start seeing stuff that scares the beejeebees out of you, like you've forgotten some form or fee or something. It's hard to stop paranoia from settling in at this point.

Thanks. I know I have to be less controlling. I'm just a little kerfizzled. I've been trying to focus on the excitement of seeing Bassi. And this time I'm staying at Mom and Dad's house in Amasaman, so I'm hoping to learn how to cook some of Bassi's favorite dishes from mom while I'm there.

You should have a recent CENOMAR copy, a month prior to your interview date as possible. Everyday numbers of couples are getting married in the Philippines, so every month the NSO are updating their system.
