The pet thread!

Sorry, I guess I could have given a little more info on him. lol. Cole is 12 weeks and 2 days old today, and was adopted just last night. Despite his puny size, our Herberto is happiest chasing the cows on the ranch, trying to herd them up. I had my heart set on a female purebred or mixed maltese to keep me company around the house. Yesterday we went into the city to see a movie with my mother-in-law, who suggested we stop at the pet store there just to see what they have. When we arrived every puppy was going crazy jumping and barking at the pet store's cat that had wandered into their area. Every puppy except for Cole, who was sitting nicely at the door of his kennel looking only at us as we came in. As we got closer he jumped up to meet us. My hubby fell in love with him right away, but I maintained a level of stubborness and searched the other kennels for a female maltese something. They did have an absolutely beautiful maltese/cavalier. I had them take her out so I could hold her. As much as I wanted her, as beautiful as she was, and as good as she was with me, she just didn't feel right. So we put her back and asked to see this one. He instantly relaxed into me. Holding him in my arms felt as right as holding Herberto. He felt like ours. And so he is.

I actually had a dream about snakes last night, and woke up this morning missing my baby Ravenne sooooo very much I had to sell her back to her original owner as our new apartment doesn't allow snakes. We have a very sweet cat now, whom I love. But I really, really, really wish I could hold my snake again

This is Stewie... My 4lb bundle of joy

He is now a year and a half old and a tiny terror.....

The jacket was a gift from my uncle, and he was modeling it..... Was not impressed at all....

He can hardly wait to get out of the cold weather and to his nice apartment in sunny California.....

He is most definitely named after Stewie (the baby from Family Guy (the cartoon) for those not familiar with the name) as well!!!

His middle name is Gilligan, and I swear he's plotting to take over the world....

It's my turn to start a big thread.

I want to share photos of my two adorable babies, and I'm sure a lot of you would love to show off your pets, too! DO IT HERE; I want to see!

Meet my two rats, Minky (the black one) and Chemo (the hairless one). They're a year and a half old, and they have brought me SO much joy.

I used to have a rat when I was a kid... WHISKERS!!! He was so sweet and adorable. He'd sit on your shoulder... if you left him there long enough, eventually, he'd fall asleep there! He was a Hooded Rat... cream colored body with a tan head and a tan diamond on his back. Super, super sweet!!!

I put a bandana on my dog yesterday so she could look extra cute for my mom when she got in. (OKay, it's also because we have so flippin many bandanas from getting the dog groomed and she almost never wears them.) She was pretty unimpressed even with that.

This is my kitty, Kitty. lol She's about 6 and a 1/2 years old... I got her right from the start, from an animal shelter, when she was 8 wks. She's moved with me everywhere, and the longest I've been away from her was this January when I went to see my SO for 2 weeks.

A girl I work with makes cute little amigurumi figures.. so I bought her some yarn that I thought would match Kitty, and she made one for me!! It's so cute! lol

So, for some reason I can't upload any pictures. Says I don't have enough room. I need some assistance here... how do I remove the pics I have posted but post more pics so I can keep posting pics? Does that make any sense?

How is it that people can post so many pics in a reply and they're the large size that are so amazingly clear! I try that and I'm told I can't. Is this a personal vendetta???

I guess it's time for me to update my petshop

1- We got rid of the beautiful but boring fish because they were always hiding, and also to give the 75 ga fish tank to our rapidly growing turtles

(also the 50 ga that was used for the turtles will become the snake's new house, because she's growing too!)

I personnally host my pictures in photobucket.com

you can create an account there, upload as many pics as you want, the size you want, and what you really do is copy and paste the link they give you here. So the pictures you are seeing here are hosted on another website, not VJ.

Then you can spam as many pics as you want

And you do delete them from the other site, then they won't be available in your posts anymore.
