I have never for the life of me understood how to upload photos on here, so if this works, it will be a miracle.

For Krikit and the rest of the kitten lovers, these are my new girls Remy and Schilly. Remy is named after a Red Sox announcer and Schilly is named after Curt Schilling, a retired Red Sox pitcher. They are sisters although they look absolutely nothing alike. They're about 14 weeks old now. Our dog is a goldendoodle named Papi (pronounced Poppy), also named after a Red Sox player... I'm sure you've figured out our naming convention. Papi is two years old.

aww..so cute.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

SomberCat I just want to hug Papi!! He's so flippin adorable. I want a goldendoodle but I'm pretty allergic to dogs... Does he shed a lot and make people sneeze?

I love this thread! The hubby would call me a nutbar and roll his eyes at me for oooh-ing and aww-ing over all the pics.

Here's my little bundles of joy.

Cosmo my little 21 pound beefcake of a boy (the white and grey one) will meow at you whenever you cough or sneeze as if to say god bless you. He loves belly rubs and sometimes sleeps on his back begging to be pet.

Spaz is my little 14 pound sunggle bunny girl. On her terms of course! She does not like her belly touched at all. But if you pet her chin she will bury her head in your hand then jackrabbit your hand with her back feet.

They are in my profile pic too when I first got them 3 years ago.

I rescued these guys when they were found in the basement of an apartment complex. And in return they saved me from a great depression from a broken heart at the time. They are great company when hubby isn't around. He's not an animal lover, or so he says, yet he is starting to ask about them when he is not here and pets them whenever they are not in his way...

The beautiful thing about Goldendoodles is that they shed very, very little. They advertise them as completely non-shedding, but that's not really possible. I've not had anyone over that's allergic to dogs, so I'm not sure if they would set off allergies or not, but I'd think the odds are pretty small. Her hair got so much longer after that pic was taken (she kind of looked like an afghan), that we get her groomed every 3 months now and get it cut short almost like a poodle.

Another perk - it's the smartest dog (standard poodle) bred with the most trainable dog (golden retriever) and having had dogs for years, I can hands down say that this is the most intelligent, well behaved dog I've had in my life. I'd get another one tomorrow. Most days she's smarter than I am.

Wow really? Good to know! I just find them completely adorable. My husband loves golden's but they aren't a very good dog to have if you have allergies. My in laws have one and he sheds like crazy! They say goldendoodles are supposed to be good for people with allergies, so I thought that would be a good compromise. I'm just worried about getting one, falling in love with it then discovering I can't breathe around the poor guy. It would be way to hard to give it up.

Thanks! That's my Spazzy. They both used to love laying in that sink. I haven't seen them in there for awhile except to drink water from it... they must not fit anymore... Whoops! Time for a bigger sink! :innocent:

Mephys, very cute kitties!
