My Wife Needs a Visa Barkada

Well, the time is approaching. My wife's case is complete and soon the difficult part of the process will begin: preperation for/and the interview...

I see a lot of savvy pinays here. I would never underestimate my wife, but she will be the first to tell you that she gets overwhelmed at just the thought of having to remember all of this stuff and the pressure of making sure she doesn't mess anything up...

I wanted to know if some other lady here still in the Philippines who has gone through this or is really familiar with it all to be my wife's visa buddy and share texts back an fourth for support and assistance and prayers.

She's a great gal: 24, a nurse, and love's God.

So let me know and I can get you both to exchange e-mails and numbers or one or the other...

She should have her interview in August or Septiebre.

06/02/08: IV Bill Paid Online

06/05/08: DS-230 Requested

06/02/08: I-864A RFE Generated

06/09/08: DS-230 Received

06/13/08: CASE COMPLETE (7 mo)

08/01/08: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

08/06/08: Medical: PASSED

08/14/08: Interview: APPROVED!

08/15/08: Visa Pick-up

09.10.08 : applied for SSN
09.13.08 : just married!!!

11.03.08 : passed behind-the-wheel drive test

11.12.08 : Sent packet for AOS, EAD and AP
11.17.08 : Packet received at Chicago, IL (day 1)
11.24.08 : Check encashed (day 7)
12.17.08 : Biometrics! (day 30)
01.13.09 : AP and EAD approved (day 57)
01.20.09 : AP arrived in the mail (day 64)
01.22.09 : EAD card received (day 66)
04.20.09 : AOS interview
04.24.09 : Welcome letter received

It would be nice to have her actively join here. She will surely get lots of friends here specially those who will have the same timeline/interview scheds as yours. Also, she will learn a lot from here, can exchange ideas and help others who are just starting out with the process. :thumbs:
