It's been 83 days

By the time I see him it will be exactly 4 months, that's the longest we have ever gone...

But on the bright side, the wonderful, fabulous, amazing side...when I see him next....touch him next...kiss him....I'll be going home with him and I'll never have to be away from him for that long ever again.

THESE ^^^^^^ were my sentiments the day I waited at the airport for Joel to arrive home...for good. That is what got me through the long stretches of being apart before he came home to me for good. For me and Joel, the longeset we were apart was five months straight, during this process. We managed seeing each other maybe two or three times a year (for a couple weeks or more) all total, including time before the process began. Those five month stretches were HARD!!!

I hope the rest of you waiting for your beloved will not have to wait much longer.

April 28 was the last time we were together. He comes to visit the weekend of June 27 and that will be the last time until he moves down... Hopefully not too long..

Its been 312 days since i saw my sweet darling husband, it will be I can't imagine how much longer before i can see him

I went to visit him for six weeks last June 27, 2007 before that I didn't see him since June 23, 2005

He wants me to be there for Ramadan in September but by the looks of it I doubt it , flights are outrageous

I'm starting to know how you feel, and I am sorry that you have bene apart so long and hope the remaining time passes quickly and you are both soon together.

You have us beat, we were last together 278 days ago it would have been 703 days if Sharon father hadn't passed on last September. Hoping for an early adjudication but looking at a possible 14 more month. Smiling all the way.

When in Canada the longest we went was 3 months and that was probably one of the most difficult 3 months. We were actually on the verge of breaking up due to the stress of everything going on in our lives.

For us the longest was about 5 months too, that was the hardest part. Only 2 hours away by plane, but not enough money or vacation time to visit It's just all a bad dream now So for everyone still waiting, that day will come where you will forget all those bad moments apart from each other

We said goodbye at the Vancouver airport June 2, so 15 days ago. Our longest separation was three months between February 28 and May 25.

it's been @ 30 days now and no expected time to see him again soon. I just got a new job. I really need to though something to break up the my heart is soooo lonely disease.

I know how you feel. I hope the job will help pass time! I know it has helped me a lot to stay more busy to pass time and to not constantly be thinking about the fact we are apart. I still do that most of the time anyways. I will be so happy when all this is over!

It's been just two weeks and two days, though it feels longer.

For the past year, we have been lucky enough to be able to see each other every 4 weeks without fail so far...sometimes we squeeze in an earlier visit. It's a 10 hour drive one-way. I am looking to move to up to northern WA this summer so we can visit every weekend when possible. He'll be just an hour away then right across the border.

I don't know how some of you do it, only seeing each other every few months or once a year...I can't imagine how hard that must be.

A ten hour drive? That has to be awesome! I live in Colorado and he lives south of Montreal so it is almost 2000 miles. I am glad it has been a bit easier for you though. That is awesome!

Yes, that is SOO WONDERFUL! I was thinking that it wasn't that long ago you had your interview in Montreal. I am so glad you get to go home with him!!!

The last time I saw my sweetie was June 1 but he is coming this Friday for the weekend! Yeah. We are very fortunate, we see each other at least once a month but lately it has been twice a month. My interview is less than a month away and I am hoping to move the week after our interview! So exciting!

We all handle our separations uniquely. For Larry and I, we have never gone more than 24 hrs without chatting online or on the phone. Even when I had my surgery at the end of April, we talked online that night for only a few minutes, but those few minutes were precious to us.

We were solid in our friendship before we took it to the next level. Now our love is just as strong. The real challenge will be actually living together.... . That challenge will begin in 13 days

That is sooo close! I know how you feel about "the last time until"... cuz my husband we are going to get him here for the birth of our son and then I want to fly there for the interview if I can and then we will see eachother when he gets to move here! But as far as how long it will be from when our son is born til the interview???? I don't know. We have been apart 80 days and still have 61 left. I am thinking of trying to get him to come a week earlier and stay a week longer so we get to be with him for 3 weeks instead of two, but I am not sure how it will all work out.

YOu know, I think this stress does that to a lot of us. I know at a few points I was so overwhelmed by everything. I love my husband and I want things to work, so I am holding on, but he and I have both changed through this whole thing. I hope it ends soon! I know I just got here, but yeah.. it never hurts to stay optimistic!

WOW! 13 days? That is fantastic! I do know what you mean about learning to live together. That was the roughest part of us being together so long after we did get married, but then we got to where it was soo hard to not be together. I only get to talk to him once or twice a week, which makes it harder than when we were dating because we talked for hours everyday too!

In addition to being able to visit every 4 weeks, we send a text message every morning when we wake and talk 3 times a day without fail - 10 min in the late morning on our lunch hours, 5-15 min in the late afternoon when we get home and for an hour every night. It sounds like alot but it helps keep us very in touch with each other, not feeling too left out from each others lives...during the hour long night call, we sometimes don't say much but we are keeping each other company and it keeps us close.
