what happenes to ur n400 after ur in the queued? does it still stay at the service center or is it moved to the DO? is vermont finished with it or does it still hold responsible for the file? just something i started to wonder after reading the posts about the service centers.

It is not in Vermont anymore...it has now been transfered to your DO - NY, NY. That probably happened months ago when your biometrics were completed.

the other thing i was wondering about is that i've read that sometimes they sent u the IL without updating ur case. somepeople said that when they checked their case status it said pending even though they r citizens now. so is it possible getting the IL without them knowing on their computer? do u know anything about that? thanks

Yes, that is true...do not rely on the updates to learn more about your case.

We received the NOA, biometrics, and interview letters all from Nebraska, even postmarked from Nebraska, St. Paul is our local field office. If the field office is handling the N-400, shouldn't we be receiving the letters from them? Interview are done in St. Paul for us, Milwaukee does the biometrics, except for the very first time, we went to St. Paul for that, but all the green cards come from Missouri.

Nebraska posted they received our application for both the I-751 in March of 2007 and the N-400 in March of 2008, haven't change it since.

I called USCIs and IO told me that my name is for queue for an interview. He said that service center will send an IL not the field office. It is what I was told...

I am still waiting. He said give it 2 weeks...
